The DPP120 and DPP240 series DIN rail-mount power supplies provide an especially economical solution for mid-power factory automation and process control applications. The DPP120 models offer a nominal output of 12, 24, or 48 V at 120 W, while the DPP240 series delivers an output of either 24 or 48 V at 240 W. For special applications, both series have a front-panel potentiometer for adjusting the output voltage. Up to three units can be paralleled for higher-power applications. Typical efficiencies reach up to 90%. Both models operate continuously over an input range of 90 to 264 V ac (via an auto-select feature). The supplies incorporate active power-factor correction, ensuring full compliance to EN61000-3-2. The series also meets EN55022 class B EMI standards (radiated and conducted), are approved to UL60950 and EN60950 specifications, are listed to UL508, and are CE Marked. The supplies are convection cooled and can operate over a –40° to +71°C temperature range. They come in a rugged metal case and can be mounted on either a TS35/7.5 or TS35/15 standard DIN rail. Color LED indicators give an immediate visual confirmation of the output status. DPP120 prices start at $61 each and DPP240 prices at $90, both in 100-unit quantities. Both are available now.
