The 788 series pluggable, DIN-rail mount relays rely on the company's CAGE CLAMP spring-pressure connection technology for push-in connection of solid wire or ferruled stranded wire and screwdriver actuated connection of all wire types. Measuring 15 mm in width, the relays include a neon lamp and LED for switching status indications plus a with/without diode for circuit protection. Potential commoning is achieved via an insulated, plug-in comb style-jumper that eliminates redundant wiring on either the coil or the load side. Other features include support for wire sizes from 22 to 14 AWG, switching up to 16A at 230V, input voltages of 12, 24, and 110 Vdc or 230 Vac, 4 kV insulation voltage between the coal and the load, and a UL flammability rating of UL94-V0.
