In addition to providing mechanical and electrical lifes of 50,000 and 25,000 operations, respectively, the M2100 series of illuminated switches offer users a choice of toggle, rocker, or paddle-style actuators and can be configured with two positions (on/on) or three positions (on/off/on) with either synchronous or isolated LED circuits. For toggle and paddle actuators, the LED is positioned in the tip, while rockers embed the LED in the cap. All three are available in SPDT and DPDT configurations. The LEDs are assembled as part of the switch and are available in red, yellow, and green, as well as a bicolor version of red and green, which is white while in the off position. The switches are available as either power models rated for 6A at 125 Vac, 3A at 250 Vac, or 3A at 30 Vdc and logic-level models offering a maximum rating of 0.4 VA at 28 Vac/dc. The series also offers a dielectric strength of 1.5 kV between contacts. NKK SWITCHES, Scottsdale, AZ. (480) 991-0942.
