The newest additions to the PowerCassette front-end power-supply line are three single-output models that include 12 Vdc at 50A/600W, 24 Vdc at 29.2A/700W, and 48 Vdc at 16.7A/800W units. Each of the supplies comes in a case measuring 1.6" x 5" x 10" and delivers power densities up to 10W/in.3. Standard features include universal 85 Vac to 264 Vac inputs with power-factor correction, a 5 Vdc/250 mA standby output, LED status indicators, active current sharing between units, no minimum load requirement, and an ORing diode on the outputs. The units are available in hot-swap or chassis-mount packages with cooling fans and a single connector. Other features include enable/inhibit inputs, ac power-fail and dc power-good outputs, and overload, overtemperature, and overvoltage protection. Pricing starts at $390 in quantity.
