Designed for harsh environments, the PBA Series of piezo pushbutton switches has no moving parts and is completely sealed. The switches sport an aluminum housing available in five cosmetic colors and are offered in non-illuminated and ring or dot illumination in four different LED colors. The series has normally open (pulse) contacts with two contact ratings, 200 mA at 24 Vac/dc and 1A at 24 Vac/dc, with switch resistance less than 10. They feature IP 68 panel mount sealing and have a life expectancy of 50 million cycles. Additional specs include standard operating temperatures of -20°C to +75°C and, on request, -40°C to +125°C. Mounting sizes are 16 mm and 22 mm. These piezo switches are well suited for use in applications such as beverage dispensers, safety and security equipment, kiosks, food processing machinery and chemical and petrochemical processing equipment.
