A complete line of discrete SMT LED chips has been introduced to complement the firm's light-pipe offerings. The chips are suited for applications including keypads, handheld wireless products and backlighting.LEDs are offered in 0603, 0805, 1206, 1210 sizes and in PLCC and right-angle mounting styles. They come in dual-chip, tri-color versions with 140º viewing angles and in wavelengths ranging from 430 nm to 700 nm. Colors cover the full spectrum from red to the 430-nm Super Blue; lenses are either diffused or clear.The chips withstand operating temperatures to 250ºF and are resistant to shock and vibration. They come on tape-and-reel and are offered in standard voltages and currents from 2 mA to 50 mA.
