Dubbed the Super NOVALED, the company's latest LED comes in a surface-mount PLCC2 package and employs unique thermal management, said to enable high light output at higher operating currents. Light intensities range from 11,250 mcd (yellow) to 18,000 mcd (white). The LED is available in two versions: InGaN capable of being driven at 50 mA, 120 mA, and 400 mA and a AllnGaP LED handling 175 mA and 350 mA. Colors range from 470 nm to 625 nm and viewing angles are either 120° with a flat lens or 40° with a dome lens. Complying with JEDEC Moisture Sensitivity Level 2 specifications, the package measures 6 mm x 6 mm x 1.5 mm and meets the requirements of lead-free (RoHS) materials and processes.
