Low on-resistance, large continuous load current, and fast switching speed are stated features of the PS710A-1A solid-state relay (SSR). Designed for power switching applications in PLCs, ATE and industrial controls, the relay is available in a miniature six-pin surface-mount package, reportedly making it the smallest SSR on the market to offer 1.8 Aac and 3.6Adc continuous load current.
Other key specifications include an on resistance 0.1 ohm typical, a switching speed of 3 ms, an LED operating current of 2 mA, 1,500V isolation, and a power dissipation of 560 mW. Available in an industry-standard 1-Form-A configuration, the relay also features GaAs LEDs on the input side and a pair of MOSFETs on the output side. In bulk or on tape and reel, price is $3.50 each/1,000.
