Providing a user-programmable processor bus interface that allows OEMs to reduce time to market by providing a glueless interface to a wide range of processors, the V380SDC high-performance SDRAM controller is intended for embedded applications. A single 100-pin PQFP device with a lock bus speed of up to 75 MHz and long burst capability allows high system performance and functionality. The controller supports up to 2 Gbytes of SDRAM or Enhanced SDRAM in various packages including industry-standard DIMMs and SODIMMs for a range of applications in telecomm, networking, industrial control, home network appliances, and digital consumer appliances.
