Primed for embedded duties, the eight-member PIC18F87J50 8-bit microcontroller family integrates certified USB 2.0, 12-Mb/s transceivers. The MCUs deliver 12 MIPS-performance with a wealth of I/O and a selection of analog and digital peripherals. A standout feature, the family can perform as the sole controller in embedded apps. Other features include the company's nanoWatt technology, up to 65 I/Os, 128 KB of flash memory, a 12-channel, 10-bit a/d converter, and a parallel master port.
