Arrow Acquires Two Indian Distributors

Arrow Electronics will acquire the components distribution business of privately-held Indian distributors Hynetic Electronics and Shreyanics Electronics.

Arrow Electronics will acquire the components distribution business of privately-held Indian distributors Hynetic Electronics and Shreyanics Electronics. Arrow will leverage the companies' linecard and experienced sales team to expand its product portfolio and offer improved services and support. Michael J. Long, president of Arrow Global Components, said the acquisition will grow the company's market share in India. Arrow serves 600 suppliers and 140,000 original equipment manufacturers, contract manufacturers, and commercial customers through a global network of 260 locations in 55 countries.
