With eyes on emerging markets, Murata Electronics North America recently entered into a distributor agreement with Sager Electronics. As a result of this arrangement, Murata hopes to extend its tentacles into a variety of markets, particularly industrial and healthcare. In theory, Sager was selected because it serves a significant set of smaller and mid-tier North American customers in multiple markets. The deal allows both companies to work in tandem to solve problems and deliver products in emerging and underserved markets.
