Rohde & Schwarz Joins LTE Industry Initiative

Test-and-measurement company Rohde & Schwarz has entered into the LTE/SAE Trial Initiative (LSTI).

Munich, Germany: Test-and-measurement company Rohde & Schwarz has entered into the LTE/SAE Trial Initiative (LSTI). The LSTI bands together leading telecommunications providers and network operators to promote development of broadband mobile radio networks based on UMTS Long Term Evolution (LTE)technology.

By becoming a member, Rohde & Schwarz will contribute to interoperability testing (IOT) and initial field tests. this should shorten time-to-market for next-generation basestations and wireless devices, says the company.
