Hybrid flyback controllers combine the simplicity of a flyback with the performance of resonant mode. Hybrid flyback controllers are able to drive both high-and low-side switches in an asymmetric half-bridge flyback topology. Thanks to this innovative approach, ultra-high-power density designs with very low standby power consumption is achieved.
