Hello,

Automotive journalist Quentin Willson, most notable to Americans as a "presenter" alongside Jeremy Clarkson and James May in the 1990's version of Top Gear, passed away a few days ago at 68 years of age after a short battle with lung cancer. RIP. I've included a link here to his review of the General Motors EV-1 electric car. The prognosis for electrics back then is interesting, as is his dealing with the car's 40-60 mile range after some "lively" driving.

Toyota's electric Hilux pickup truck has now entered production in Thailand, becoming available for order in Europe, soon. Not yours, America. Link below.

Also, Toyota's most popular pickup truck, the Hilux, is now in production in Thailand for worldwide distribution, coming soon to Europe. Toyota's American arm hates EVs, apparently, and allegedly doesn't want it competing with the Tacoma. The electric Hilux pickup truck should do well in the rest of the sane world, despite its small battery capacity:
