Employing a non-inductive design that allows for single-screw mounting to a heat sink, the company's TO-220 style power film resistors are capable of handling up to 20W at case temperatures to 25°C. They are available with resistance values from 0.05Ω to 10 kΩ, tolerances down to 1%, and TCRs as low as 50 ppm. With their molded cases isolated from the resistors, the components mount easily to a heat sink. The TR 20 size has a lower power rating and does not require a screw hole for heat sink mounting while the higher-power TR 25 and TR 30 both have screw holes. Pricing ranges from $0.75 to $1.50 each with delivery times from six to eight weeks. STACKPOLE ELECTRONICS INC., Raleigh, NC. (919) 850-9500.
