8-kVA Transformer Restores Disrupted Power
The PhazeSaver Model PS8000 transportable, 8-kVA transformer quickly restores 240-Vac power from a single 120-Vac source and can also provide 120V from a service with two good phases. Working with overhead 120-/240-Vac and underground 120-/208-Vac systems, the unit restores power to businesses and residences that lose partial service until permanent repairs are complete. Users can parallel two or more units for loads higher than 8 kVA. Other features include a 70A circuit breaker, enclosed electrical connections, dimensions of 790 mm x 360 mm x 165 mm, and a weight of 70 lbs.
