Two new wideband shield bead ferrite chokes attenuate EMI and other unwanted signals in a circuit without contributing to power losses at lower frequencies or dc. Similar in performance to other SPG parts, the SPG-100 and SPG-101 have a vertical-mount

Two new wideband shield bead ferrite chokes attenuate EMI and other unwanted signals in a circuit without contributing to power losses at lower frequencies or dc. Similar in performance to other SPG parts, the SPG-100 and SPG-101 have a vertical-mount arrangement. Impedances range from 20 to 500 ohms over frequencies ranging from 1 to 400 MHz. Only the #22 and #24 AWG tinned copper wire used in construction limits the currents. Each core measures 0.235" in diameter by 0.400" long with leads extending radially about 1.0" from the end. Pricing is $0.20 each in production quantities. PREM MAGNETICS INC., McHenry, IL. (815) 385-2700. PREM MAGNETICS INC.
