Designed for power applications, the new CSF Series of common mode filters has inductance values of 1 to 120 mH and maximum dc currents from 0.3A to 4.5A. The filters have ungapped “H” ferrite cores with split-section bobbins tightly wound using what is touted as a highly sophisticated automated winding process. This assures constant leakage inductance and SRF flow. Other specs include dielectric withstanding voltage of 1.5 kV and temperature rise at maximum current of 45°C. The filters are available in four sizes with vertical or horizontal core mounting and with industry standard footprints. Pricing is less than $0.50 each/10,000.
