Seeking high-frequency chores, the GRM02 series 01005-size, chip monolithic ceramic capacitors measure 0.4 mm x 0.2 mm x 0.2 mm and offer capacitance values from 2 to 15 pF for C0G characteristics and from 1,000 to 10,000 pF for X5R characteristics. The ability to provide high capacitance values in packages this small is said to be the result of proprietary printing, laminating, and cutting processes that create the thin-layer dielectric material. The outer terminal of the components features a unique electroplated structure that is said to provide reliable soldering heat resistance. Lead times for samples range from four to six weeks.
