Supporting a plethora of high-frequency applications, three series of inductors address evolving design requirements common to the consumer marketplace. The AL series employs a thin-film technology for high reliability and precision tolerances to 1% or ±1 nH while the CL series multi-layer components target cost-sensitive designs. The WL series uses wirewound technology, offering a higher usable frequency range and current carrying ability, and the best Q factor of the lot. The AL thin film inductor series is available in 0603 and 0402 sizes, in inductance values from 0.2 nH to 100 nH, in tolerances down to 0.1 nH or 1%, and with SRF control to within 10%. The CL multi-layer inductor series is available in 0603 and 0402 sizes. Inductance values range from 1 nH up to 220 nH, and tolerances to 0.3 nH or 5%. The WL series come in sizes from 1008 to 0402 and inductance values from 1.0 nH to 15 µH and higher. Prices range from $0.01 to $0.08 each/10,000. STACKPOLE ELECTRONICS INC., Raleigh, NC.
