The Capstick Capacitor, Type CS series multi-layer polymer (MLP) film capacitors now includes components with a 250 Vdc rating. Reporting ultra-low ESR and high ripple current capability in a small case size, the capacitors perform high-frequency filtering and EMI/RFI suppression in ac/dc or dc/dc conversion applications. Capacitance values range from 0.33 to 20 µF, and voltage ratings include 50, 100, 250, 400, and 500 Vdc. Both through-hole and surface-mount configurations are available. Typical pricing for a 250 Vdc component is $1.49 each in production quantities with delivery from stock to six weeks. ITW PAKTRON, Lynchburg, VA. (434) 239-6941.
