Well suited for harsh environments, Edmund Optics’ mid-wave infrared (MWIR) polarizers are highly resistant to UV radiation and chemicals and feature high contrast ratios and transmittances.

Well suited for harsh environments, Edmund Optics’ mid-wave infrared (MWIR) polarizers are highly resistant to UV radiation and chemicals and feature high contrast ratios and transmittances. Competent for a wide variety of applications, they operate in the 1.5 to 5 μm wavelength range and in temperatures of up to +120°C. The components employ dichroic glass substrate, a durable soda lime substrate material that enables high resistance to UV radiation, chemicals, and high temperatures of up to 120 °C. They are available in 12.5 mm and 25 mm diameter models. EDMUND OPTICS INC., Barrington, NJ. (800) 363-1992.
