An approximate improvement of 25% in accuracy is reported with the TFPT series of linear positive temperature coefficient thermistors when compared with previous generation components. Offered in three internationally recognized SMT case sizes, the devices are claimed as the first of their kind to provide a lot temperature coefficient of resistance of up to 5000 ppm. The series provides highly accurate and stable performance for temperature compensation, control, and measurement to printers, cell phones, pagers, computers and other information appliances. Its improved tracking accuracy reduces circuit drift in end products, especially at the extremes of operating temperature ranges and allows designers to obtain precise performance with fewer components. The thermistors are offered in 0603, 0805, and 1206 surface-mount cases. Standard tolerance options of 1%, 5% and 10% are available. Call for price. VISHAY INTERTECHNOLOGY INC., Malvern, PA.
