Electronics manufacturers are grappling with a global chip shortage due to the coronavirus pandemic. While that has impacted the rollout of everything from consumer devices to cars, power-related devices have been somewhat buffered against supply constraints. Industry analysts are cautiously optimistic that chip supplies will rebound later this year as the virus subsides, giving a big boost to the market for power technologies, from battery cells to power regulators.
