Measuring just 1.0" x 1.0" x 0.4", the THN-15 series of isolated 15W dc/dc converters come in encapsulated, shielded metal packages. The series includes 20 single-output models with wide 2:1 or ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage ranges and precisely regulated output voltages of 3.3, 5.0, 12, or 15 Vdc. Their advanced circuit design delivers efficiencies of up to 88%, allowing for an operating temperature range of –40° to +85°C (with derating). Features include remote on/off, trimmable output voltage, output over-voltage protection, and 1,500 Vdc I/O isolation. Typical applications are in mobile equipment, instrumentation, and distributed power architectures in communication and industrial electronics. Prices start at $22.00 each/1,000 for the 2:1 input models. Delivery is from stock to six weeks. For further information, contact Paul Christiansen at POWERGATE LLC, Santa Clara, CA. (866) 588-1750.
