They are available in 20.3 mm x 11.4 mm x 6.3 mm and 33 mm x 13.5 mm x 8 mm surface-mount packages and employ the company's maXyz intermediate bus architecture (IBA). The YNL converters provide fixed outputs from 0.9V to 3.3V while the YMM and YNS components offer programmable outputs from 0.75V to 3.3V. Each series is capable of delivering it's full rated output, measured with a 3.3V input in an ambient temperature of 85°C. Other shared features include remote on/off, an output-voltage-adjust pin, remote sense, no minimum load requirements, start-up into pre-biased outputs, input under-voltage lockout, thermal shutdown, and over-current protection. Prices for the YNM, YNL, and YNS series are $9.50, $13, and $16 each/1,000, respectively. POWER-ONE INC., Carlsbad, CA. (866) 969-3438.
