Claimed to provide the configurability of custom power supplies with the benefits of standard designs, the G Series of 1U high switchers employs a packaging concept that permits selection from a wide range of off-the-shelf input and output sub- assemblies. The modules permit assembly of 250W-400W at 110 Vac (300W-500W at 220 Vac) power supplies having from two to five outputs. And regardless of the modules selected, the assembled supply will already be certified to meet international safety and emissions requirements. Packing 7W/in.3 in a compact, 1.58"H x 5.00"W x 7.00"L package for 250W/300W models or 1.58"H x 5.00"W x 9.00"L for 450W/500W units, the G Series switching power supplies are available either for use as integral units or as part of a hot-pluggable, rack-mount, redundant system. The supplies have a 0.95 power factor correction with 75%-80% typical efficiency, floating and adjustable fully-regulated outputs, thermal shutdown, dc good signal, and current share features. And the units can be customized with Or-ing diodes for redundancy and hot-pluggable capability via PCI interfaces. Pricing starts at $280 each.
