With a power density of 6.9W per cubic inch, the SDS150 series ac/dc power supplies provide up to 150W of output power using convection cooling. Open-frame and U-channel models are available. The open-frame model measures 76 mm x 127 mm x 36 mm and offers the highest power density, while the 81 mm x 127 mm x 39 mm U-channel model achieves 6.1 watts per cubic inch. The supplies specify efficiencies up to 90% and operate at full power in temperatures from 0°C to +50°C and up to +70°C with derating. No minimum load is required for the units to start up and maintain specifications. Additionally, there are eight single-output voltage versions ranging from 9 to 48 Vdc. Pricing starts at $92.30 each/1,000. For further information, call Duane Darrow at XP POWER, Littleton, MA. (978) 287-7260.
