As CPCI systems are rapidly becoming a standard embedded computing platform, the company has introduced four new models to its line of CPCI power supplies. The devices offer ac and dc inputs of 200 and 350W and come in 3U x 8HP and 6U x HP sizes. All are fully compliant with the recently released PICMG power-interface specification 2.11 R1.0, ensuring plug-and-play compatibility with new CPCI systems.
Using these high power supplies in 3U and 6U form factors allows for designs with fewer power supplies. Airflow as little as 15 cfm is needed to main cool and reliable operation.
All four models are ready for current sharing on the main 3.3- and 5-V outputs as well as redundant operation. These features compensate for low-voltage current requirements and ensure uptime and hot swapability, respectively. The CPCI-204-1203 and DPCI-204-1203 200-W models cost less than $200 and the CPCI-354T-1203 and DPCI-354T-1203 350-W models cost less than $400 in OEM quantities with delivery at four weeks ARO.
