For RFPA applications, the PKJ 4000 series dc/dc converters adds the PKJ 4316 API with a 48V input voltage and a 28.2V, 11A/350W output. Also joining the family are the PKJ 4316 P, rated at 48V in and 28.2V/11A/310W out, and the PKJ 4216N PI rated at

For RFPA applications, the PKJ 4000 series dc/dc converters adds the PKJ 4316 API with a 48V input voltage and a 28.2V, 11A/350W output. Also joining the family are the PKJ 4316 P, rated at 48V in and 28.2V/11A/310W out, and the PKJ 4216N PI rated at 48V in and 30.2V/8.3A/250W out. All three are available in an industry-standard half-brick format with an overall input-voltage range from 35 to 75 Vdc. Shared features include RoHS-compliance, a standard RFPA (RF Power Amplifier) height of 12.7 mm, output over-voltage, input under-voltage, over-temperature, and output short-circuit protection, soft-start, remote sensing, remote control, and output-voltage adjust functions. Additionally, the converters include a ground plane in the PCB area under the dc/dc converter and 1.5-kVdc input-to-output isolation. The PKJ 4316 API is priced at $50 each in OEM quantities.
