In what is said to be the industry's smallest footprint, additions to the Senpai series non-isolated point of load (POL) converters include components operating from a 2.4V to 5.5V input and delivering up to 10A of output current. The converters are designed for intermediate bus architecture and distributed power architecture applications. The FPMR05SR75 converters are available in 3A, 5A, 6A, 8A, and 10A output models in a 20.3 mm x 11.4 mm x 5.35 mm SMD package with an industry-standard pin-out. They provide regulated, programmable output voltages in the range of 0.75 to 3.63 Vdc. All models feature remote on/off, over-current and over-temperature protection, output-voltage adjust, and are compatible with standard trim equations. Prices range from $4.50 to $9.50 each/1,000.
