Touted for increasing the speed of response to customer requirements, the 1U Quick-Set PowerCassette six-output switcher can supply 234 different output combinations with the flip of a switch. Outputs are factory set by means of internal DIP switches, giving the company the ability to offer next-day delivery on 234 different models, in small quantities. The new supply comes in both chassis mount and hot-swap versions. All specifications are identical to the current non-programmable version of the Power Cassette. Units have up to six outputs, including a 5 Vdc, 1A independent standby output. Maximum continuous power is 600W, and output voltages range from 1.8 to 12 Vdc. An ultra-compact, low-profile case measures 1.6" (1U) x 5" x 11", yielding 6.8W per cubic inch. The case has internal cooling fans and a single, pluggable connector. The DIP switch output programming is the result of an advanced “cellular-type” architecture using four standard internal power cells. Universal input ranges from 85 to 264 Vac. Model numbers of the supply begin with PCH-S and TPCH-S. Pricing in high volumes starts at $399. UNIPOWER CORP., Coral Springs, FL. (954) 346-2442.
