The latest Sorensen XG Series programmable dc power supplies by Xantrex deliver up to 850W of output power. Reportedly, this translates into the highest power density for any 1U, half-rack form factor power supply on the market. Sporting a classic black design, 12 models are available with voltage outputs ranging from 6V to 600V. They include an array of interfaces including USB 2.0 and optional GPIB or LAN Ethernet. Other features include auxiliary outputs and a save/recall mode that captures three memory settings. Users may connect up to 30 XG Series units via a multi-channel RS-485 bus that eliminates the need for a GPIB card in each unit.
