Residing in single in-line packages (SIPs) measuring 50.8 mm x 12.7 mm x 9.98 mm, the APA18 series point-of-load dc/dc converters deliver output currents to 18A, adjustable output voltages from 0.75V to 5.5V, and efficiencies up to 92%. They are available with vertical or horizontal mounting pins and include a remote-enable pin for sequential activation. Other features include over-current and over-temperature protection, auto-recovery from any protective shutdown, a slew rate up to 1 A/µs, and an operating temperature range of -40ºC to +85ºC.
