Providing high-current, low-voltage point-of-load (POL) power distribution in military, avionics, and space-electronics systems, the DVPL0510S POL converter delivers up to 10A of output current with a voltage output of 0.8V to 3.4V. The non-isolated, synchronous buck-regulated converter specifies an efficiency up to 96% and measures a bit over one square inch. Features include military grade reliability, a 5V input, power density greater than 100 W/in3, operating temperature range from -55°C to +125°C with no derating, hermetically sealed package, output voltage sequencing and tracking, output inhibit control, operation into a pre-biased output, and over-current and short-circuit protection.
