100V Buck Regulator Integrates MOSFETs

Jan. 25, 2012
The 600-mA LM5017 is the industry’s first 100V synchronous buck regulator with integrated MOSFETs.

The 600-mA LM5017 is the industry’s first 100V synchronous buck regulator with integrated MOSFETs. It enables direct point-of-load voltage regulation from input voltages as high as 100V to eliminate external transient voltage suppressors or clamps required to achieve reliable operation in high-voltage applications. Integrated MOSFETs eliminate freewheeling Schottky diodes and improve efficiency. In an 8-pin PSOP and available in March, price for the LM5017 is $1.65 each/1,000.
