The LT3461/A 1.3 MHz and 3 MHz, step-up dc/dc converter features an internal 40V/300-mA switch with a Schottky diode and soft-start capability, housed in a six-lead ThinSOT package. Exploiting a constant-frequency and constant-current mode architecture, the device has an input range from 2.5V to 16V and delivers outputs up to 38V. Other features include a quiescent current of 2.8 mA while operating, less than 1 µA in shutdown, and operating efficiencies up to 84%. Price is $1.65 each/1,000.
