In ultra-miniature, surface-mount packages measuring 12.7 mm x 9.3 mm x 8.7 mm and weighing 1.5g, the LF200S series dc/dc converters can deliver up to 2W of output power. Six models in the series operate with input voltages of 5, 12, and 24 Vdc, providing single outputs of 5 or 12 Vdc. Standard features include efficiencies as high as 82%, an input/output isolation of 1 kVdc and, reportedly, low-noise operation. Their MTBF as per MIL HDBK 217F is greater than two million hours. All models are RoHS compliant and operate over an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with no derating or heat sinking. Cooling is via free-air convection.
