The UPG GaAs MMIC power amplifier packs a pre-driver, driver and output stage in a single, 4-mm square 20-pin leadless package. Primarily intended for 915 MHz and 2.4 GHz ISM-band applications, the device exhibits a bandwidth from 800 MHz to 2.5 GHz.

The UPG GaAs MMIC power amplifier packs a pre-driver, driver and output stage in a single, 4-mm square 20-pin leadless package. Primarily intended for 915 MHz and 2.4 GHz ISM-band applications, the device exhibits a bandwidth from 800 MHz to 2.5 GHz. It is also suitable for use in standard cellular, GSM 900, DCS 1800, PCS 1900, and WLAN applications. Operating on a supply voltage from 2.8V to 5.5V, the amp delivers a minimum output power of +32 dB (1.5W), a typical gain of 44 dB at 1.8 GHz, and a minimum power-added efficiency of 42% at 1.8 GHz.
