The IR3550, the first in a family of integrated PowIRstage devices, carries a 60A current rating and integrates a synchronous buck gate driver, control and synchronous MOSFETs, and a Schottky diode into 6 mm x 6 mm x 0.9 mm PQFN package. It is compatible with most analog and digital controllers available on the market today. Other features include an integrated current sense amplifier and up to 95% peak efficiency.
