The TC33025 dual-output, pulse-width modulator controller is claimed to be ideal for use in a variety of switching-regulator applications. The 1-MHz controller features a 50-ns propagation delay to the outputs, dual high-current totem-pole outputs, a wide-bandwidth error amplifier, a typical start-up current of 500 µA, and a 90% maximum duty cycle. The chip also packs an oscillator, a temperature-compensated reference, and a high-speed current-sensing comparator. Packaged in a 16-pin SOIC, prices start at $2.17 each/1,000.
