Designed for power sensitive applications, the MIC5236 low-dropout (LDO) regulator is said to provide keep-alive voltage for notebook PCs. The 150 µA device features a quiescent current of 20 µA and a wide input voltage range of 2.3V to 30V.

Designed for power sensitive applications, the MIC5236 low-dropout (LDO) regulator is said to provide keep-alive voltage for notebook PCs. The 150 µA device features a quiescent current of 20 µA and a wide input voltage range of 2.3V to 30V. Other features include a 150 mA output capability, ±1% initial accuracy, temperature range from -40°C to 125°C, 3V fixed output voltage with other levels scheduled for the near future, an output-low indicator, and load-dump, current-limit and thermal-shutdown protection. Pricing starts at $1.48 each/1,000 with delivery from stock to eight weeks ARO.
