Schottky Diodes Have High Cutoff Frequency

April 1, 1999
With a high cutoff frequency allowing use through low millimeter wave frequencies, the MA4E2037 single, MA4E2039 anti-parallel pair and MA4E2040 series-tee GaAs beam-lead Schottky barrier diodes are well-suited for use in single and double-balanced

With a high cutoff frequency allowing use through low millimeter wave frequencies, the MA4E2037 single, MA4E2039 anti-parallel pair and MA4E2040 series-tee GaAs beam-lead Schottky barrier diodes are well-suited for use in single and double-balanced mixers in transceivers for point-to-point radios, automotive radar systems and police radar detectors. The use of an air-bridge anode contact in these diodes give users improved uniformity of electrical characteristics to improve isolation and impedance matching in balanced mixer or modulator circuits.
