Version 2.0 of the IRPLBDA2 ballast-design software automates designs with the company's 600V, protected ballast control ICs. Applications include dimming, non-dimming, linear fluorescent, and compact fluorescent ballasts. The software supports 36 lamp types and seven different ballast configurations. Over 20 parameters including frequency, voltage, current, and component values are user selectable and an inductor calculator is also included.
