Described as an intelligent system-power device, the EM6152 is reportedly the only such device to incorporate a multi-mode windowed watchdog timer, reset logic, and a 5V low-dropout voltage regulator capable of delivering up to 400 mA of output current. The chip meets AEC-Q100 requirements and can support operation up to 40V. It comes in an 8-pin SO8 package (100-mA regulator output) or PSOP-16 power package (400-mA regulator output) with an operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C.
