The EM6151 microprocessor voltage supervisory IC integrates programmable reset threshold voltages, a watchdog timer with programmable time window, and a system enable output within a compact, 8-pin SO8 package. It is available in several permutations, allowing for different ratios of the opened/closed window in the watchdog and power saving functions that are compatible with CAN-bus sleep modes. Version 53 comes with a large (67%) opened watchdog window, version 50 provides a smaller (33%) window, and version 55 offers a controller area network (CAN) bus sleep-mode detector. Each device features an open drain reset output, consumes 35 µA of current, and operates over a temperature range from -40°C to +125°C. EM MICROELECTRONIC-US INC., Colorado Springs, CO.
