12-Bit ADC Includes I2C Interface

To accommodate PC and network-server applications, the ADS7823 a/d converter features an I2C interface. The device supports all the I2C serial bus and data transmission protocols: standard, up to 100 kb/s; fast, up to 400 kb/s; and high-speed, up to 3.4 Mb/s.Available in an MSOP-8, the device consumes just 350 µA in high-speed mode and operates from 2.7V to 5V power supplies. Other features include an integrated sample-and-hold amplifier, an internal asynchronous clock, a sampling rate up to 50 kHz, an internal four-word FILO, and guaranteed no missing codes up to 12 bits.
