Support for all of Actel Corp.'s existing and future FPGA products is being offered by Unique of Hong Kong, which has signed on as a new distribution partner for the firm, strengthening Actel's network of distributors and design support in The People's Republic of China and Asian regions. Unique, a division of Memec (Asia Pacific) Ltd. and part of the worldwide Memec Group with VEBA Electronics Inc., is a leading distributor in the marketing of specialty semiconductors. Under the agreement, Unique will distribute all Actel FPGA devices, including: the non-volatile SX family; the high-performance, low-cost MX family; and the recently added Flash-based ProASIC family of non-volatile, high-density, reprogrammable logic ICs.
