Clock Module Meets GR-1244-CORE Spec

Sept. 1, 2001

Said to be the industryÕs first clock module to conform to GR-1244-CORE for a Stratum 3E clock, the STM-S3E provides a backplane clock reference to line cards for use in TDM, PDH, SONET and SDH networks. The module sports the same footprint as existing STM-S3 and STM-S3+ modules for integration into existing designs. Features include output frequencies from 1.544 MHz to 38.88 MHz, 5V operation (with 3.3V operation in the near future), 12 ppb holdover across 0ûC to 70ûC, free run
